Your walk up the aisle.
All eyes are on this momentous part of your wedding day. Your teary eyed guests will be enthralled in this moment and all phones will be out capturing the details. Whether it’s a blossom lined aisle or an abundance of candlelight. Choose something that will reflect your style. Remember to think posture, timing, and the position of your bouquet. And most importantly, Smile! And enjoy the moment.
Cutting of the cake.
First off, check out the area in your venue where you will be cutting your cake. Are you happy with the aesthetic? Is there any areas that need tweaking? Would fairylights & florals enhance the area, and make those photos really fit the vision you have in your head? We have lots of different styles to choose from, from simple to extravagant. I really love the idea of choosing a song to be played during this part of the day, it will add to the atmosphere & make it a fun and memorable experience.
First Dance.
That much anticipated first dance from the newly wed couple. Another key moment to think about. Traditionally the dancefloor is officially open to guests after this first dance. Are you going solo or inviting family members & the bridal party to join you? Are you choosing a slow dance or something to get the crowd going?
Practise makes perfect. Even if you have lessons, definitely rehearse between sessions so that you can get the moves into your muscle memory and dance it intuitively. When you feel comfortable on the dancefloor it will show.
Chat to your photographer about different angles of the room that will look best in the background. If you have booked draping & fairylights, these act as spectacular backdrops for your album.
